What we build

What each product is, who it is for, and where it stands today. Honestly.

NamibWay

The platform

The smartest way to experience Namibia.

NamibWay brings travellers and Namibian hosts onto one platform. Travellers plan and request their whole trip in one place. Lodges, camps, guides and tour operators get the tools to run their business: calendar, rates, front desk and invoices.

Who it is for
Travellers who want Namibia without the guesswork, and the businesses that host them.
Where it stands Live
Live at namibway.com. Trip planner, listings, booking requests and the partner tools run in production. Online card payment and connections to reservation systems are built and will go into service with the first partners. Mobile apps follow.
  • Trip planner

A complete itinerary with lodges, activities, route and vehicle, ready to request.

  • Partner tools

Occupancy calendar, seasons and rates, front desk, folio and numbered invoices.

  • Websites for local businesses

Fast, light websites for lodges, guides and traders, on their own domain.

  • Five languages

English, German, Dutch, French and Spanish.

Kaia

The voice

An AI travel companion that listens first.

Kaia is the AI travel companion inside NamibWay. She asks how you like to travel, then builds a complete plan: where to sleep, what to do, where to eat and how to get there. Two variants, ready to request from real Namibian hosts, in the traveller’s own language.

Who it is for
Travellers who would rather have a conversation than set forty filters.
Where it stands Live
Live inside NamibWay: the conversation and the itinerary. Support during the trip itself is designed and next in line.
  • A conversation, not a form

Kaia asks about pace, budget and interests before she suggests anything.

  • Complete itineraries

Accommodation, activities, restaurants, vehicle and route in one plan.

  • Real hosts

Every suggestion points to a business on NamibWay that can confirm it.

  • Your language

Kaia replies in the language the traveller writes in.

Presence

The presence

Every good business deserves to be found.

Namibia’s best small businesses are invisible to travellers. A kapana grill worth queueing for, a guide who knows the Kunene, a camp with six beds: many of them exist on Facebook or Instagram alone, where nobody planning a trip from Europe will ever find them. We build them a web presence on their own domain, and the same site puts them inside NamibWay.

Who it is for
Guides, restaurants, kapana stands, camps, craft sellers and operators who are good at what they do and hard to find online.
Where it stands Live
Live: the first customer site is online on its own domain, and more are being set up. Next comes the editor that lets owners change their own texts. The price is set for a Namibian small business, not for an agency budget.
  • Own domain, own content

The site belongs to the business, and the content can leave with it.

  • Found inside NamibWay

Every site is a listing on the platform, and Kaia can suggest it while planning a trip.

  • Enquiries and bookings

Requests arrive through the same booking tools the lodges use.

  • A business card that loads

Light enough for a phone with one bar of signal.

Meet Kaia

Travel planning as a conversation.

Kaia asks before she suggests. Behind her answers is a language model, and behind the model is what we know about the country: routes, distances, seasons, and the hosts who make a trip work.

  • A conversation, not a form. Kaia asks about pace, budget and interests before she suggests anything.
  • Complete itineraries. Accommodation, activities, restaurants, vehicle and route in one plan.
  • Real hosts. Every suggestion points to a business on NamibWay that can confirm it.

Kaia

a travel companion by NamibWay

online
Traveller: Two weeks in Namibia in May. We love wildlife and quiet places, and we have never driven on gravel.
Kaia: Then let’s keep the long gravel stretches short. I’d start in Windhoek, go north to Etosha for four nights and finish in the Erongo mountains.
Traveller: And the dunes?
Kaia: Sossusvlei fits into a second variant. It adds two driving days. I’ll put both plans side by side for you.
